This 1923 Ford T-Bucket has SOLD . Originally built in the 1960s and was reportedly inspired by a similar car featured in the 1964 James Darren film The Lively Set. video here > https://youtu.be/X5m_Ns4u4NE A dvd copy of the film comes with the car. The car was refreshed in the late 1980s with a custom airbrushed paint job, and now features a removable white top and a white vinyl interior. Power is provided by a 305ci V8 paired with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. Other highlights include a tunnel-ram intake, chrome axles front and rear, a custom chrome chainlink steering wheel, chromed underside parts and a stereo. This T-Bucket is registered as a 1923 Ford . The car features fiberglass bodywork over a steel frame, and is equipped with a removable white top and a two-piece windscreen. The bodywork is finished in red, and the custom airbrushed paint scheme featuring warriors and dragons was reportedly applied in 1987 at a cost of approximately $8k and looks like it was done yesterday. The car is equipped with spoked front and slotted aluminum rear wheels. Mickey Thompson tires are installed at the rear. The cabin is upholstered in white with black carpets and features a tall Hurst shifter and a chrome chainlink steering wheel on a vertical steering column. Switchgear is installed in a polished center console, and the stereo consist of a JVC head unit and a pair of speakers in the kick panels. A selection of instrumentation is installed in the wooden dash fascia, and 31k miles are shown on the odometer. Power is provided by a 305ci V8 backed by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. The car is equipped with an aluminum tunnel-ram intake topped by a single-carburetor adapter and an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor. Chromed headers terminate in separate collectors on the sides of the vehicle. Suspension is by transverse leaf springs front and rear.
