Body modifications include 5" shortened box, metal bed floor, custom tailgate latches, 1938 Dodge taillights, custom roll pan, shaved hood, custom interior, 12-volt system, halogen headlights, electric wipers, new front bumper and, door handles and window cranks. New glass, windshield rubber and door seals, etc. Boxed original frame modified front and rear., all new front and rear suspension ,springs , shocks, sway bars, power steering rack, front disc brakes, 700 R4 Transmission. Posi traction. Four new wheels and tires., 383 Blueprinted Stroker motor. New Headers, custom exhaust exits through rear roll pan. All new brake, fuel and air lines.. Lokar shifter, E-brake and cables. Power brakes. New alternator with new pulley system. All components were sandblasted and cleaned prior to sealing with DP-40. Color is Indian Turquoise by PPG done in base coat clear coat and Classic Truck Friends "Quality is not only showing on the Top Side its underside also " see the body color on the complete underside of this beautifully restored 1950 Chevy Pickup . The truck has won many first place awards including several Best of Show awards at local events. Major awards include two picks at Good Guys Nationals.
