Was originally dealer optioned for Off Road Desert Service near El Centro, California with unique options. ie: On Board air supply (compressor) Winch, Rear Rack, service manuals, orig manual. Original oil bath air filter used for display. more info: It has a high output alternator with several applications for many different vehicles, sometimes in a commercial application. If the crank pulley has another v-grove spot open, then the alternator gets two belts. The open crank pulley v-grove would be utilized for the A/C compressor, if factory installed, and is now used for the air pump for the on board air compressor system, as this was integral with desert rescue operations. There might still be an open v-belt grove on the crank pulley, but it probably does not line up to the remaining open alternator grove. This alternator usually resides where the A/C pump is now, on a standard “non-A/C application. This bracketry here now is for an A/C equipped V-6 Dauntles as it was required for the factory modification to an air pump. There are receipts for a newly rebuilt engine, but not by us. So, engine was dismantled down to the short block for inspection and it was indeed just rebuilt. Driveline serviced as needed including seals, bearings filters and fluids. Complete photo documentation of the build, from the bare frame to what we have here today, is available. All drivetrain is restored, or better, as per O.E.M. specifications. By better I mean for drivability while keeping the AACA nationals points meet judges happy, awarding this a 1st. Place Jr. standing on its first roll out on the show field. Now it is allowed to compete in the Senior class and if not sold will be competing this Summer.
