1974 Porsche 911

Porsche 911 SC Targa available in showroom now, Lots of upgrades , arrived from Texas 6 years ago . It is rust free and has always been garage kept. The car has newer tires, brakes, shifting linkage and was recently serviced, including an oil change. A great time can be had with this dependable great looking sports car !! The car drives as you would expect a Porsche 911 would and is a real head turner anywhere and especially at car shows. Just driven 150 miles , excellent driving sports car. This early production ’74 911 was originally paint code # 334 Metallic Blue but has been changed to Grand Prix white #131. All steel wide-body conversion done in the early eighty’s with fiberglass front spoiler and factory whale tail mounted on a factory 911 SC deck lid. The original 2.7 engine was replaced in the the late eighties with very clean and strong running 3.2 Carrera unit with 40mm Weber carburetors complete with rain shields, K&N filters and fuel pressure regulator and gauge. The ignition is crank sensor with three individual coils. The exhaust system is backdated to SSI (stainless steel) heat exchangers with a dual inlet and single outlet muffler. The original 915 transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is still mostly original with standard leather seats, ice original carpet, and a rarely seen factory adjustable wiper delay rubber knob above the driver’s knee pad. The dash is in excellent condition. with VDO guages. The steering wheel was changed to a Fitipaldi “Personal” unit with a 1981 date code and the radio is an updated Clarion deck .
