It is rust free and has always been garage kept. The All steel wide-body conversion was professionally done in the early eighty’s with the fiberglass front spoiler and the factory whale tail mounted on a factory 911 SC deck lid. The car has newer tires, brakes, shifting linkage and was recently serviced, including an oil change. A great time can be had with this dependable great looking sports car !! The car drives as you would expect a Porsche 911 would and is a real head turner anywhere and especially at car shows. Just driven 150 miles , and it sure is an excellent driving sports car. This early production ’74 911 was originally paint code # 334 Metallic Blue but has been changed to Grand Prix white #131. . The original 2.7 engine was replaced in the the late eighties with very clean and strong running 3.2 Carrera unit with 40mm Weber carburetors complete with rain shields, K&N filters and fuel pressure regulator and gauge. The ignition is crank sensor with three individual coils. The exhaust system is backdated to SSI (stainless steel) heat exchangers with a dual inlet and single outlet muffler. The original 915 transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is still mostly original with standard leather seats, ice original carpet, and a rarely seen factory adjustable wiper delay rubber knob above the driver’s knee pad. The dash is in excellent condition. with VDO gauges. The steering wheel was changed to a Fitipaldi “Personal” unit with a 1981 date code and the radio is an updated Clarion deck . A 930S console with factory tape holders completes the additions to the stock interior.
